Basic Language Course
These courses are aimed at people who are still in the asylum procedure and currently have no access to integration courses or other language support programmes offered by the federal government or the BAMF.

8 – 16 participants
Duration:
300 teaching units (approx. 15 weeks)
Attention!
These persons may take part in the course
- Persons holding a residence permit (asylum procedure) who entered after 31.07.2019 and are permitted to work by the immigration authority.
- Persons who come from a safe country of origin (Albania, Serbia, Bosnien-Herzegowina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Ghana, Senegal)
- Persons with a toleration status who do not have a training toleration, employment toleration or toleration under Section 60a (2) sentence 3.
These persons may NOT take part in the course
- People from Syria and Eritrea
- People with a residence permit who entered before 01.08.2019
Concept
- 300 teaching units of German lessons (1 teaching unit = 45 min.)
- delivered by a qualified GFL/GSL teacher in accordance with the standards of the federal integration courses (cf. the framework curriculum for integration courses on the website of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees)
