„Arabic Language and Culture 2.0“

As part of our project „Arabic Language and Culture 2.0“, we had the pleasure of introducing 50 participants to the fascinating Arabic culture as well as the Arabic language. Over a period of seven months (from 01.07.2020 to 28.02.2021), on Saturdays and Sundays, we offered a varied programme that included both theoretical and practical elements. Through the use of Arabic textbooks as well as playful and musical activities, we were able to convey to the participants the various facets of Arabic culture in a hands-on and everyday-oriented way.

„Arabic Language and Culture 2.0“

Despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, we were able to successfully carry out our project „Arabic Language and Culture 2.0“. The in-person meetings originally planned were flexibly held via Zoom during this time, which enabled us to maintain contact with our 50 participants and to continue delivering valuable content.

The positive response from the participants has encouraged us to plan and carry out further projects of this kind in the years to come. We warmly thank the Landschaftsverband Westfalen Lippe (LWL), whose funding made it possible for us to carry out this valuable project.
