„Everyone Deserves the Same Chance“ – Application Training
Our application training took place from 01.09.2020 to 28.02.2021 and was a complete success. As part of the application training, we provided young people with valuable knowledge and skills to support them in creating their applications. This included, among other things, writing résumés, practising job interviews, and acquiring strategies for self-presentation. Our goal was to prepare the participants optimally for entering the working world and to strengthen their self-confidence.
Despite the initial challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, we were able to record a high level of interest in our programme, which pleased us greatly. Unfortunately, due to the hygiene protection measures, we had to adjust some planned excursions and activities, but the participants responded extremely positively to short-notice changes to the schedule. They showed great commitment and developed creative ideas to make the best of the situation. The consistently positive feedback from the participants, their parents, and the supervisors encouraged us to undertake a project of this kind in 2021 as well. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Landschaftsverband Westfalen Lippe (LWL), whose funding made it possible for us to carry out this valuable project.
